Vaggeryds Maskin AB is an ISO 9001 and 14001 certified contract manufacturer with its own workshop for sheet metal fabrication, welding, CNC machining, assembly and quality control — all under one roof in Vaggeryd.
Our philosophy has always been to work for the long term and close to our customers. Many of our partnerships span several years. We get to know your products, requirements and reality, which makes every new order faster and safer to put into production. With design, planning and manufacturing under the same roof, you avoid unnecessary middlemen and long lead times.
A complete workshop
Cutting, forming, welding and assembly — under one roof
Contract manufacturing (subcontracting) means that we take care of all or part of your production — from sheet metal to a finished, tested product. We continuously invest in new technology to meet our customers' high demands for precision, quality and delivery reliability.
Sheet metal fabrication
Microstep MasterCut plasma cutter with a 6000×3000 mm working area, plus our own laser cutter (12 kW) for sheet thickness up to 30 mm. Press brake 250 tonnes, 3 m bending length, with dynamic bending assist.
Welding
Welding robot (Fanuc, 6-axis) and manual Kemppi welding stations. Lifting capacity 2,500 kg, workpieces up to 6 m and material thickness from 4 mm. All welders are certified.
Machining
A CNC machine park with HAAS (VF-2, VF-3YT, VF-4) and Mazak VTC-800 (4+1-axis) ensures capacity and flexibility in the production flow.
Assembly
Assembly and functional testing of complete products and subsystems. Our test tower is used to test lift masts, among other things, with test loads up to 14 metres of lift height.
Quality
ISO 9001 and 14001 certified processes. A measuring arm (Hexagon Absolute Arm, 7-axis) with PC-DMIS inspects components and finished products.
Design & engineering
Autodesk Inventor (incl. FEM preparation) and Fusion CAM — a close link between development and production, from idea to tested product.
Painting
Painting is already part of our offering, and we are currently investing in our own powder coating plant, now being installed, for even shorter lead times.

What is contract manufacturing?
Contract manufacturing (subcontracting) means that a company outsources all or part of its production to an external workshop. At Vaggeryds Maskin it includes sheet metal fabrication, welding, CNC machining, assembly and quality control — all under one roof.
Which materials and sheet thicknesses can you process?
The plasma cutter handles sheet up to 6000×3000 mm, and the press brake handles up to 250 tonnes with a 3 m bending length. We also laser cut in-house, with a 12 kW laser that handles sheet thickness up to 30 mm.
Are you certified?
Yes, our processes are certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.

Do you help with design, not just manufacturing?
